When I was going into Middle school I wanted to learn how to play an instrument. I didn't know what to play so I decided that I would try the saxophone because it looked to be an interesting instrument. At first it was very difficult to hold yet alone play, but after a couple of weeks I started to get the hang of it. The teachers taught the saxophone players how to put the instrument together, clean it and hold it the correct way. I enjoyed this because it was a new experience for me. After a couple years of practicing the instrument it became easier and easier to learn new songs and the fingerings. I still think that the saxophone is an interesting instrument and I like the way it sounds today. I can notice when there is a saxophone in a pop song today and it intrigues me, such as Jason Derulo's "Talk Dirty".
After playing my instrument I started to enjoy learning new songs and playing new things. Anyone that has played an instrument for a while knows what I'm talking about. It was also fun to be in band and make new friends that I never would have met otherwise. People should always be trying new things because you never know what the outcome will be. To any and all readers, have you ever done something that was a new experience that you came to enjoy? If there anything you want to try to do, because if so you should go for it!
